Dayo Scuba - Manatee Springs Dive on 1 April 2001

Manatee Springs State Park, Florida 1 April 2001

As an after thought we took the camera, but no strobe down with us to check out Catfish Sink and it's cavern/cave. The actual spring was occupied by 11 manatees so the ranges didn't allow any scuba there, but the sink, just yards away was open. The sink is covered in duck weed, but even though 35+ divers were in and out of the sink before us (we were there around noon), the VIS was not bad, and in the cavern/cave it was almost perfect.
