Lobster Season is rolling around again soon (August 6th), and the fun kicks off with Mini Season on the 27-28th July 2011.

Time to dust of that gear, and make sure its in working order before you hit the water!

Our technicians have asked us to remind everyone to allow plenty of time to get your scuba gear serviced!

Gear Service usually take an average of 1-2 weeks, we will service gear right up to Mini Season, but there might be a rush charge if you need it done faster than usual!

In addition to servicing your gear, Dive Refreshers are highly recommended for anyone that hasn't been diving in the last six months. We are out diving almost every weekend, so plenty of opportunity to jump back in and tune up on those skills and buoyancy!

Some points to note about Mini Season and Lobster Season:

* All divers should have on their possession in the ocean a flag/SMB and a whistle

* All lobster hunters MUST have on their person a measuring device for measuring lobster

* All lobster hunters MUST have a valid saltwater fishing license with a lobster/crayfish stamp

* 6 per day catch limit

* The taking of small or pregnant lobsters is STRICTLY forbidden

And finally......remember diver safety first, lobsters come in second!

Be safe this Lobster Season
