Venice is the"Shark Tooth Capital of the World". The waters were prehistoric feeding grounds for the ancient giant shark, Carcharocles Megalodon. On a specialized Shark Tooth Dive charters you will find giant shark teeth, manatee bones, whale bones, prehistoric horse bones or other unique fossils. All fossil dives are in the 20-30 foot depth range allowing for plenty of bottom time.
The average visibility is 8-15 feet although teeth can be found within as little as 3 feet visibility. The Shark Tooth Dive is always weather dependent.
The Shark Tooth Dive is a 2 tank dive; tanks and weights are included in the price, $69.00 plus tax. They also provide on-board snack, bottled water and soft drinks.
Each diver is required to bring a Dive Certification Card and a fine mesh bag for holding the fossils you find. Nothing else is required. We will be meeting at Dayo 9:30 Saturday morning or at the boat at 1:00

Directions Coming from the North:
I75 South - Merge on to FL-681 S. via Exit 200 toward Venice, Osprey - Take the US-41 S. exit on the left toward Venice/Gulf Beaches - Proceed southbound on US 41 S. for a little over 2 miles and you will see three big green highway signs on your right indicating the Business 41 exit to Venice. Take this exit on the right and drive only 1000 feet to the base of the Hatchett Creek drawbridge. Do Not Cross Over the Bridge. Take the access road on the right side of the drawbridge into our parking lot.
