    Alexander Springs Dive Trip

    One of our favorite dives, perfect for newer divers, or those looking to refresh their dive skills after being out of the water a while :)

    Alexander Springs is surrounded by thick sub-tropical forest on two sides and pines and hardwoods in a camping area on the other. Crystal clear water flows from several vent openings, into the 200 foot spring head area, and forms the headwaters of Alexander Creek. The dive bottom consists of a bowl shaped area consisting of hard packed, light colored sand, surrounded by grass. Alexander Springs is home to lots of fish & turtles. Topside divers regularly see different types of water birds and otters.

    Trip fee is $45, which includes a set of guided dives on one tank, and full scuba gear rental. Divers are responsible for park admission and transportation.

    This comprehensive certification gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and basic First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, this course prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations. By learning a series of emergency response skills in an upbeat, positive environment, your enjoyable experience will give you the confidence to help in any emergency.

    This certification is also a requirement to complete the [B][URL="http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?1293-Rescue-Diver-Course"]Rescue Course[/URL][/B]

    You will need to complete the book-work at home before class, and we will do a practical session at Dayo Saturday afternoon.
