    ERDI Course Info

ERDI is the Public Safety Diving (PSD) agency that trains Police, Fire and other public safety organizations in Search and Rescue techniques needed to respond to and operate to in in water emergencies. ERDI trains departments on how to make and maintain their own PSD teams. All ERDI programs are OSHA and NFPA compliant.

Dayo Scuba offers ERDI public safety training that simulates actual situations to give the ERDI students a clear understanding of how emergencies are handled in the real world.

The emergency response training dives are executed using actual equipment that is used in emergencies. Studnets gain experience alone, and attached to a tether. Emergency Response students must be comfortable with diving in zero visibility conditions, constantly avoiding or dealing with entanglements while searching for a specific object (s). The Emergency Response Diver must be able to search, locate, document and recover objects as the dive mission dictates.
