If there is interest I will buy the dive at Epcot for Dayo Scuba. We will have the tank to ourselves. The cost will be around $120 but that is an estimate and it may be a little more or less. I am thinking of setting this up for late November. If interested let me know what nights are good for you and lets see if we can fill the dive.

Gaby and I will probably be in, is this a week day or weekend dive? Weekends are best for us. Gaby will need some time to give her work notice. The later in November the better of us.
I've heard mixed reviews about diving there. Is it really worth the cash?

Nicole and I will do the dive. The last time I tried to take her there she got sick and wasn't able to do the dive. Of course a weekend is best for both of us. Nicole's birthday is in November so it would be a nice gift.

To answer your question about the worth of the dive. It is a lot of fun and something to do once maybe twice. It is alot of fun interacting with the tourists on the other side of the glass and those eating at the resturant. The nice thing about the money is that Disney gives it all to marine research worldwide. They do not make anything on the dive. Also after the dive you can get something to eat at Epcot and watch the night fireworks show. I will try to get a weekend. I will call them on Monday.

But us down as a maybe until you get the dates and we can firm it up!

Thanks!

I have Disney checking dates and they should get back to me this week. Getting an entire dive for the weekend takes setting up.

For those who are interested. How does Friday night Dec. 5th sound. Price is $100 if paid in advance or $120 after Nov. 1st.

What time would we need to be there for a Friday night dive?

How many dives is it? I heard they lend you all the gear but you can use your own mask. I'd prefer to use my own gear but hey less stuff to clean afterwards and lug around with my bum leg!

Keep us posted on the date/time(s)!

The only thing you can bring is a mask. They do not want to take any chance of any contaminants getting into the tank. While there is only one dive. The program takes about two plus hours.

Just found out yesterday we'll be starting inventory at work on the 5 Dec and will be working late and all through the weekend. No diving for me on that weekend. Hope you all enjoy.

I have gotten a lot of people telling me that the month of December is not a great month for the Epcot dive and while they would love to do it they cannot that week. All that being said I am moving it to a weekend in Feb. I will post all the details with in 30 days. This could make a very nice Christmas gift. Speaking of Christmas, Hanukkah, Quansa, Ramadan, Winter Solstice or whatever Dayo Scuba now has gift certificates available for your holiday giving.
