Open Water Class September 9-11th 2011

Congrats to Al, Dan, Orlando, Bobby and Anisa who completed their Open Water Course (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?1296-Open-Water-Diver-Course) with Denise and TJ this past weekend.

The weather was great when we first got to the pool on Friday night, but JUST as we got on scuba, a lightening show started and we had to call off our pool session :(

Everyone persevered however, and arrived early to Lake Denton (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?1585-Lake-Denton-Dive-Plan) on Saturday morning to finish our confined water and do some open water dives.

Lake Denton (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?1585-Lake-Denton-Dive-Plan) was 88 degrees, and the visibility was so-so (10-20 feet).

Sunday was less crowded at the lake, and better opportunity for pictures as there was less people in the water. Having a great camera also helped with better pics (thanks Bobby :))
