Hello All

My name is Captain Shane D Creech. Tj asked me to introduce myself to the forum as well as my dive boat. I have known Tj for some time now and taken several specialty classes from him and happy I did. I am a NAUI and SSI instructor as well as Dive Boat Captain. The latter is my focus more so then the teaching.

I have been in the diving world for many years. I have managed dive shops and been a travel coordinator for a central Florida dive operation, all the time wanting to be the Captain of my own vessel. This past spring I took the leap and moved to Boynton Beach to work with Captain Leo Sand aboard DEEPER.

The DEEPER is in my opinion the best dive boat on the east coast of Florida. We are here to make your diving day the best it can be. We believe in having fun, allowing liberal dive profiles and safety. I will be posting specialty dives under the “Dive Trips” heading in the main forum and I would like to invite everyone to join us as you can. Keep in mind we run regularly scheduled trips during the week and on the weekends and I will not be posting these trips as I hate to spam any forum or email client. You can get up to date trip information by calling us at 561-734-3818 or 888-340-DIVE. These two numbers will ring to the reservation phone and whoever, Captain Leo or Captain Shane, answers it can give you the needed information you are seeking.

Thanks for your time and I hope that each and every one of you dive safely and dive often no matter where you dive.

Welcome Captain!! Good to have a boat driver on the site!! What are the costs of your dives....recreational and technical? Checked your site without finding a price list. Maybe I missed them.

Hey doczerothree,

We do not publish rates in any form on the net as a company policy, Reason- we want you to call us :)

We mainly do rec trips but tec trips can be done on a case by case basis.

Techdiver,

We mainly have four wrecks within our range, Skycliff, Castor, Budweiser Bar, Becks and the Hydro Atlantic.

Our main claim to fame if you will is our reef structure is far better then any others in Florida. We have reefs well out into the 150' range that very seldom gets seen. DEEPER is primarily set up for the rec crowd. As a budding Tech diver before I started driving the boat I understand your desire to find Tech friendly boats at a fair cost. We are just not set up for small tech groups. However larger Tech groups can be handled upon requests. We feel that a true "Tech Dive" needs the proper top side support with a Divemaster that is totally informed of the planned dive and fully capable of going down and preforming a bailout if needed. As a result these trips have to be seperated from a Rec trip because we use different crew.

Is a fabulous dive, 200 odd feet or so.

TJ and I did it last October, we had 100 plus feet of viz (apparently uncommon for that wreck), there was lots and lots of life on it, was a really beautiful dive.

Sounds good to me safety is always a first. Thanks for the info.:armata_PDT_34:
