Diving Friday 6/6

Is anyone diving tomorrow morning and up for having a new buddy tag along? I am flying down tonight and Tommy mentioned that he'd probably be diving tomorrow, but if something comes up and he can't make it, I'd hate to have flown 1000 miles to watch Springer in my trailer :) Is anyone else going to be around and up for a dive or two? If we end up with a couple of people, we can always split into teams etc. I'm full cave, but up for anything from cavern dives on up. I'm staying over by Peacock but will drive anywhere to dive.

I would go Sat, but wife kinda put the kibosh on that --
Said I had tooooo many "Honey-Dos" to do around the house-- like mow the yard, clean the garage, etc...

But , at least she let's me go diving just about any day of the week -- weekends are some time tough to get away :)

You should have heard her when I said " Honey, I'm leaving Friday, be back Sunday"---
Her response was , don't bother coming back -- lolol

I think I am going to Drive UP to Ginnie today.
I might get one or 2 dives in !! :)

If I leave at 11am, should get there by 2pm 2:30.. Still pleant of time to do 2 dives maybe 3 ---

Was headed to Ginnie Today, and my Brand New car with 900 miles on it crapped out. Stupid Engine Computer died..

Hopefully they have it fixed Sat. If they do, I might just be able to make it
on Monday.

Sorry I didn't get to meet you guys this time down. Tommy, that really stinks about your car--hope you were able to get that taken care of in time to get back to diving today.

Denise--sorry I didn't get to meet you--I would have loved to meet another female cave diver too. I did one dive with another female diver and it was great.

I did a couple of dives at Ginnie Friday, which were very nice, and a couple at Peacock on Saturday which I just loved. We did the Waterhole tunnel on one dive, and the distance tunnel on the second. Both dives ran about 90 minutes. Excellent buddys who were fun to dive with, and Peacock is an awesome system to dive. I can see why you guys were so upset when it was closed for all that time.

Hope to dive with some of you next time around.

I couldn't even guess. It was only limited by how far my light could carry, not by poor conditions. The basin is a bit murky at P1, but once you hit the cavern it opens right up. It's pretty cool to look up from down there at the reddish looking water.

I've been reading the post, if I had scuba gear with me I'd hop in the shower rihgt now with it on. I took a ride on the bike up a road next to the lake 26 miles long the hole ride I wanted to just put on some gear and hit the water. I'm home sick, and scuba crazy.:102:

Tommy sorry to hear about the new vehicle, hope its ready to go, I no I'm going to be ready to go. It will be dry suit time when I get there. :armata_PDT_34: Gotta hang with dad a little longer. :icon_lol:
