Neil, Tim and Kevin started their cavern course (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1393), last week with Denise. After a day of academics and line drills at the Dayo Store, we visited Manatee Springs (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1740) on Wednesday for the first "wet" day of training. Throughout the day we did a bunch of dives in the Catfish Hotel cavern.

Visibility in the basin and cavern was 30-40 feet, 71 degrees throughout. The flow was moderate, and there was bunches of catfish in the cavern zone.
On day two Neil, Kevin and Denise headed off to Peacock 1 to do some more dives there. Here we were treated to crystal clear visibility and no one else in the water.

We dived both the Mainline and Peanut Cavern, and took lots of photos

That afternoon Denise took the boys on a history tour of North Florida, where they checked out the local "touristy spots" :)

A fun day was had by all, and congrats to Neil and Kevin who passed their cavern course! :armata_PDT_34:
