It's a few years old, but sort of provides some insight about how little we know about the undersea world to this day. Basically an icthyologist led a dive team in water from 200-500 feet off the coast of Palau. Their purpose was to catalog previously unknown species, in the span of a few weeks they found 38 previously unknown creatures.
