We had only one student, Art, in this class working on his TDI Deco course, and a couple of swimalongs each day.

On Monday afternoon, after a morning of academics and a V Planner session at the store, TJ, Peter and Art headed off to Blue Springs (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=271) for the first day of his deco Deco (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1666) training.

They spent three dives over the day working on dropping and picking up O2, and gas switches.

Pirate statue at the end of Blue Springs
On Thursday Art, Brent and I headed off to lower Orange Grove (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1192) (as we were all cave trained) for the final dive. We already had our dive plans all made out, so we got our gear together, and put everything down in the water. We all dived doubles. We were used nitrox as back gas and oxygen to decompress on. We planned a long dive (30 minute bottom time) to 110 feet.
We ran our reel into the lower section, tied off, dropped our bottles and explored around. Funnily, we found a little pirate statue, the exact same as we had seen in Blue Springs (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=271) a few days previously!

The guys worked on line drills and practiced their nitrogen narcosis management :), and did pretty well with it. Art carried an extra bottle to practice his staging with it.

Our bottom time was was 30 minutes, followed by about 20 minutes of deco at varying levels. We shot a liftbag back out in the basin on the way back to the surface and had fun with those multiple bottles.
