This is the instructor level certification course for Instructors that want to teach the TDI Advanced Nitrox (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1667) program. This course is designed to teach the safe use of Nitrox 21 through 100 for diving to optimal depths of 130 feet, without any staged decompression.

Pre-requisites Certifications for TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor Course:
* Minimum age of 18 years old
* Have a minimum certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox diver (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1667), or equivalent.
* Show proof of 100 logged open water dives.
* Show proof of 25 logged Nitrox (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1291) dives
* Have certified ten students in entry level Nitrox (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1291).
* Assist with teaching at least one TDI Advanced Nitrox diver (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1667) course.
Required Equipment for TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructors:
* TDI Standards and Procedures Instructor Manual.
* TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor Guide.
* TDI Advanced Nitrox student manual and workbook.
* TDI Evaluation forms
Number of dives associated with the course:
At least 4, all of which are to be deeper than 75 feet.
Other dives as deemed necessary by the Instructor Trainer may also be required, in order to fulfill all skill requirements.
Skill Performance Requirements:
* Candidates must attend a workshop at Dayo Scuba in order to fulfill the requirements for the TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor course. After this is completed, and the appropriate fee paid to TDI, the Instructor may apply to upgrade in their rating with TDI.
* During the workshop, Instructors are required to demonstrate proficiency in performing and teaching all skills required in the Advanced Nitrox course (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1667).
* They must satisfactorily complete the TDI Advanced Nitrox course (http://www.scubadiver.cc/forums/showthread.php?t=1667) written examination and be able to adequately explain each answer to a prospective student.
* They must satisfactorily complete the TDI Advanced Nitrox Instructor written examination with a minimum grade of 80%.
* Demonstrate mature, sound judgment concerning training and execution.
* Present one graded presentation on an Advanced Nitrox topic.
Cost:
* Basic course cost is $499 per student.
* As this is a professional course, you are expected to buy your own academic materials, as listed above.
* The Instructor Upgrade with TDI is $40.
