Anyone interested in sitting in on a presentation on being cremated and your ashes made into a reef somewhere?

I was asked to see if we could set this up, but I wanted to see if there was an interest first.

TJ:
What a novel idea. Being from NYC we used to do the same thing except we did not use cremation. Just cement and you feed the fish before you turn into a reef.

MIAMI — About 45 feet beneath the ocean's surface lies a cemetery with gates, pathways, plaques and even benches.

The Neptune Memorial Reef, which opened last fall, is seen by its creators as a perfect final resting spot for those who loved the sea. They hope that one day the reef will cover 16 acres and have room for 125,000 remains.

I always said when I go just put me in my scuba gear and throw me in. (and yes that would probably be a waste of good gear) Tough! :059:

I would like my body and/or ashes shot into space when my day is up.
I bet I could some how turn that into a business, but I bet the government wouldn't be too happy with me shooting rockets into space with bodies...hmm..:icon_question:
